Privacy Policy

Effective Date: February 7, 2026  ·  Last Updated: April 9, 2026

Last updated April 9, 2026: SMS & Messaging Policy (Section 4) rewritten to describe the current sales-call SMS flow and dual opt-in paths.

1. Introduction

Clear Kernel LLC, doing business as FieldPanel ("we," "us," or "our"), operates the website fieldpanel.com and provides a field-service management platform for home-service business owners, including cleaning companies, landscapers, handymen, and similar businesses. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information from our customers and visitors to our website.

By using our platform or services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: When a customer is onboarded, we collect their name, email address, mobile phone number, business name, and business address. Onboarding happens through a live conversation with a FieldPanel sales representative. Payment information is collected and processed by a PCI-compliant third-party payment processor; FieldPanel does not directly store payment card data.

Platform Usage Data: When you use the FieldPanel platform (at app.fieldpanel.com), we automatically collect information about how you interact with it, including IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and timestamps. The marketing website at fieldpanel.com does not collect analytics data from visitors.

Communication Data: We collect records of SMS messages, emails, and other communications sent to customers, including delivery status, timestamps, and consent records.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our platform, process transactions and send transactional communications, deliver one-time account sign-in links via SMS to customers who have verbally consented during a sales call, provide customer support, comply with legal obligations, and protect against fraud and abuse.

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. SMS & Messaging Policy

FieldPanel uses SMS for one limited purpose: delivering a one-time account sign-in link to home-service business owners who have verbally authorized it during a live phone call with a FieldPanel sales representative.

Consent: FieldPanel does not collect SMS consent through any web form on this website. Consent is obtained verbally during a live phone call between a FieldPanel sales representative and a prospective customer. The representative reads a verbatim consent disclosure script before any SMS is triggered. Every consent event is logged in our CRM with a timestamp, the representative's identity, the phone number consented to, and a reference to the call recording where applicable. Calls are recorded; in two-party-consent states representatives disclose recording at the start of the call. Consent records are available for carrier audit on request.

Use case: The only SMS messages FieldPanel sends are one-time sign-in links for newly-provisioned FieldPanel accounts. Each SMS is initiated by a FieldPanel sales representative during a live phone call with verbal consent. The representative triggers the send from FieldPanel's sales tooling, which logs the consent event and dispatches a single SMS through the Twilio API from FieldPanel's own Twilio account. Every message is 1:1 with a live phone conversation — never recurring, never bulk, never marketing.

Two sender numbers: FieldPanel sends SMS from either a toll-free number or a local long-code number. Both numbers are operated by Clear Kernel LLC (FieldPanel) for carrier-routing redundancy. Replying STOP to either number opts the recipient out of all FieldPanel SMS across both numbers.

No marketing or bulk messaging: FieldPanel does not send marketing or promotional SMS messages. FieldPanel does not send automated or bulk SMS campaigns. FieldPanel does not cold-text recipients.

Message frequency: At most one SMS per consent event. Typical recipients receive one SMS total — the sign-in link to their newly-provisioned FieldPanel account.

Opt-out (STOP) and HELP: Recipients may reply STOP to any message at any time to opt out. After you reply STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent. Recipients may also reply HELP to any message to receive contact information, or email support@fieldpanel.com to request removal.

Consent records: All consent events are recorded contemporaneously with a timestamp, the identity of the representative who obtained verbal consent, the phone number consented to, and a reference to the call recording where applicable. These records are available for carrier audit on request.

Mobile information sharing: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Carrier disclaimer: Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

For full details, see our SMS Terms.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We may share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist in operating the platform, including cloud hosting providers, payment processors, SMS delivery providers (e.g., Twilio), and analytics services. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.

We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of FieldPanel, our users, or the public.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Customers may request deletion of their account and associated data at any time by contacting support@fieldpanel.com.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL), encrypted database storage, access controls and authentication, and regular security monitoring. While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, request data portability, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the email address below.

9. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify customers of material changes via email or through the platform. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
